ISE 2025: Trends, Technologies, and Key Takeaways
ISE 2025 in Barcelona was a real eye-opener for me. Unlike IBC, it has a different scale and focus—fewer media companies, more system integrators and AV solution developers. This is where the technologies shaping tomorrow’s industry are born.
The highlight for us was presenting xSDK, our new cross-platform solution. It immediately caught the attention of playout system and OTT platform developers. We had great discussions with clients about AI-powered features: automatic content classification, and machine learning integration into media workflows.
Key trends that stood out:
🔹 AI is now everywhere, from production to distribution
🔹 Demand for flexible OTT solutions with dynamic ABR streaming is growing
🔹 MAM systems are integrating more deeply with cloud storage
🔹 Cross-platform support and new codecs are becoming a must-have
What impressed me the most? The demo zones featuring transparent OLED screens, projection mapping, and next-gen displays. These innovations open up new possibilities for TV studios and media centers.
As a result of the exhibition, we secured agreements to integrate our SDK with studio automation systems and outlined plans to enhance our media app development tools.
The industry is evolving fast—AI, cloud solutions, and new broadcasting formats are no longer the future; they are the new normal. There’s a lot of work ahead, not just to keep up with trends but to drive them.
